A comparitive study...

Some days ago I cleaned out my closet and was going through old art (read: stuff I did in high school) as part of moving it to a somewhat more cat-proof storage situation. I came across this, and was surprised by the relative quality of it.

It had been a chalange born of a random anime character generator, which I ought to try to find again. I didn't write a date on it but given the GIMP file on my computer from where I must have scanned it, I put it around 2004. But in the meantime, I figure I can do better now (several drawing courses later i dang well ought to).
