I can't say that I've seen everything. I'm way too young for that to be even half true. I'm old enough to remember when the World Wide Web was being born, getting dad to connect at 14kbps and waiting impatiently for a kid's webpage to load, trying to get the gopher pages of the local library system to display properly or walking (very slowly) through AlphaWorld, the first 3d "virtual world" But I didn't become a nearly full-time internet dweller until middle school and I've been at it in various guises for nearly 10 years.
Similarly my skill set has changed and evolved...from barely shaded pencil drawings and watercolor fan art to advanced Photoshop and real-looking charcoals. From flat HTML pages to style sheets. From text MUCKs to worlds like Second Life. From static stories to interactive fiction to full-blown games...or attempts at them. The two threads running in parallel throughout, the two dominant "streams" are art and technology and the "me" is irreversibly twined between those two.
Welcome to the mindstream.
